It would be advisable to start on a small scale application to get your
Flex development chops in line. Especially for a large scale
application, you would want to know the ins and outs of taking a
specific approach. This is true with any programming language.
Unless this hurts your pride, or is otherwise not workable, hire a Flex
consultant who can step you through the process and give you the backup
you need.
