Hi John, I remember taking LCDS 2.5.1 and updating the Flex sdk that comes with it by simply doing a copy and replace by using some version of the Flex 3 beta a while back and got my ant script to compile a simple app. Also, if not mitaken, and someone from Adobe can correct me, there will be an LCDS 2.6 that will come with the Flex 3 sdk once it is released, so just have to wait a little while for that.
