I am trying to track down examples or commentary around AIR's ability to create desktop gadgets similar to what you see in Vista's sidebar. The goal would be to enable a BI dashboard effect. You login the AIR the BI widget is active on the desktop with updated values for the metric(s) it represents. Ideally you could have an unlimited set of widgets that just sit on the desktop (or seem to) even if you hit the Windows-D key combo.
Has anyone had success with this? Tim
