Meaning in the final release there will be no need for this step ?

Oh, under 'other', I must admit to just skimming the release notes, sorry.

I don't appear to have "ant" for the ant task, and the task appears generic,
not for the framework files, so how do I
"1. Extract Library.swf from the SWC [i.e. each of framework, rpc,
datavisulisation ?].
 2. Run the optimize tool to remove debug information and metadata. Specify
the metadata you want to keep by using the –keep-as3-metadata option.
 [What "metadata" do I need "to keep" for the framework ? ]
 3. Optionally, run the digest tool to update the SWC digest information since
the RSL has been modified. [is this really optional for framework files ?]"
using just the SDK ?

How to use these mysterious tools (I guess "digest tool"
means 'bin/digest', "optimizer" is 'bin/optimize') to make the missing files
is unclear - I can spend all morning reading their documentation and trying
things and still not hit the right combination - it'd better to have the
exact commands needed documented.

As a work around, copying both the .swf and .swz (not just the missing .swf of
each .swz) that Builder generated for the project works, but not everyone
using the SDK will have a Windows install of Builder they can use.
