Hi Girish, As you are developing a desktop application, I would highly recommend you taking a look at Janus. (http://www.spaghettisort.com/janus/). There is a trial version to play with. I use this everyday for communicating with SQL Server 2005 and it works great with Flex! There's a whole bunch of other exciting stuff it can do with Flex too. best, Graham Nichols
