Sure, I thought I have enabled "view source" but just checked again, I didn't, currently in the classroom for tonight's RIA course, will update it later tonight.

Well, this is not exactly what you want, but can be easily modified to be a DateField.

So, sorry if this isn't what the group is for, but here's my request anyway.

 

I would love a component that extends DateField... that would allow for a user to click on the calendar icon OR enter a date by typing it in. I think that this would be a very commonly used component, if not a de-facto replacement for DateField.
