Thanks for your post. This is a bit worrisome. I always wondered why there isn't a good WYSIWYG rich text editor in flash / flex. I do know of the flash based Obedit (http://www.oblius.com/?projects.obedit) , which is better, but still sort of basic compared to the many many javascript / dhtml editors for the web. To compete with the likes of AJAX, Adobe might want to consider creating a component like this. Is there an official Adobe response, or do I need to post on an Adobe site to get an official response? Does anybody else find their customers needing a good WYSIWYG Rich Text component?
