Well, what if you have it up there and just say something is available on this forum?
Not go into detail, just let people know to take a fresh look at the exchange.
For instance, I just released a Check Box Tree, it's on the exchange, check it out. I don't even have to put a url here because if they go to the exchange, all the info is there.
Peace, Mike
Also agreed. I'd rather hear about it and possibly be inspired by what they've done, rather than find a component only when I need it. If I can offer a client a new feature I'd not thought of myself, that component probably paid for itself :)Shan

Subject: [Junk E-Mail - MED] RE: [flexcomponents] Commercial ComponentThat said, I personally would welcome notification about commercial
component availability.
I don't think there will be so many that it will become a traffic issue,
and I also think that helping Flex component developers earn a living is
a reasonable use of this community resource.
At least until there is another / better place.

I think Flex Exchange would be a better place. I think Flex start page
should point to some Adobe approved catalog. Additionally I would also
argue that listing them "Amazon style" (ie with authors , editorial and
users review ) would be beneficial.
Thank you,
Anatole
