I've been trying to develop a bunch of components for a while now and
I have come across a few problems that I just cannot fund answers too.
1. Using [Inspectable] or any other metadata tag is there a way I can
get my custom properties to be displayed in the FlexBuilder properties
panel. Not in the 'Categorized' or 'Alphabetical' view but in the
actual 'Standard View', and if I have the type set to Color, is there
a way to bring up the Color selector?
2. If I create a component using MXML and package it using an SWC,
when I include the SWC an drop the component onto an application it is
blank! Everything compiles and when ran the component shows up, but in
FlexBuilder the component does not show up. Why is this? (Actionscript
components work fine)
3. When I packaging components in SWC's I have been using manifest
files. The one thing I cannot figure out it how to prevent certain
components from showing up under the custom components folder. For
example, my ItemRenderes all show up as components. I do not want
this. How does Adobe prevent classes like "DataGridItemRenderer" from
showing up?
