You have to use localconnection.

I don't found in documentation how to use the AS2 code that could be
in a SWF produced by Flash authoring tool. Is that kind of AS code you
talk about?

AFAIK, an embedded SWF is seen by Flex as a blackbox, can you say more
about that?
