[flexcomponents] Tweenable text scrolling -- is it easily possible?

I want to build/extend a component that will allow me to tween the scrolled 
content. I want 
to be able to scroll containers and TextArea. What is the best approach - 
extend 
UIComponent or Box? With text I'd have to wrap the TextArea in a container 
because scrollV/
scrollH isn't a pixel value.
