So you can create one in MXML and it will style and then if you hit a button you can stick one generated in AS right next to it and it won't style?

It doesn't show up or it doesn't style? A common error is to forget to call addChild() to add the component to the displaylist and then it won't show up ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joseph Abenhaim Sent: Friday, March 30, 2007 8:29 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [flexcomponents] Component Styling issue Hi all, I have an issue trying to style a component. I have a custom component called ColoredRowGrid Now on a regular mxml if I add the component it styles just fine using a css file with style: ColoredRowGrid { paddingLeft: 0; } The problem is when I try to instanciate this component in AS like so: var coloredGrid:ColoredRowGrid = new ColoredRowGrid(); it works for everything else such as panels and whatnot, even DataGrid works but this one doesn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated J Thanks, Joseph Abenhaim. ________________________________ Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records.
