Don't know if this will help you or not, but I have found using states, view stacks, and tab navigators, and esp. the outline view to be very helpful when designing in flex. I like it much better than the timeline, actually. You should be able to find lots of free tutorials on those subjects, esp. at the adobe flex developer site.
Note that I only have to complete very rudimentary projects in flex, so maybe someone with more experience can help you more, but that's what worked for me. I also found the Charles E. Brown Flex 2 book to be useful. All of the texts and the materials have problems, but it helped me enough to complete the projects I wanted to complete. Good luck...Flex is pretty cool once you find your way around it. --- "Persaud, Anthony" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Is there a simple timeline component for Flex?
