I think what Anthony was asking for was not a Flash-like timeline, but rather a Flex component for making a visual timeline, where he could have items along it that users could click on to get information.
In that vein, I've not really seen anything out there that does that as a flex component. On 5/4/07, Chris Boosalis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Don't know if this will help you or not, but I have found using states, view stacks, and tab navigators, and esp. the outline view to be very helpful when designing in flex. I like it much better than the timeline, actually. You should be able to find lots of free tutorials on those subjects, esp. at the adobe flex developer site. Note that I only have to complete very rudimentary projects in flex, so maybe someone with more experience can help you more, but that's what worked for me. I also found the Charles E. Brown Flex 2 book to be useful. All of the texts and the materials have problems, but it helped me enough to complete the projects I wanted to complete. Good luck...Flex is pretty cool once you find your way around it. --- "Persaud, Anthony" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] <apersaud%40qualcomm.com>> wrote: > Is there a simple timeline component for Flex?
