i really like it too. there isn't really a way to do rich text editing in FB
atm. not sure how much time you want to spend on it but it would be a great
plugin for eclipse. another thing you could do is call the checkboxes
"convert ..." or "filter out ..." then on every keypress automatically
update the code view. any checkboxes that are checked will filter the
results. you could also hide the filter. just have it pop up in a panel with
the options to check.

my 2 cents

I'm glad you like it! The top control is the Rich Text Editor
component, so all of it's functionality is included. You'll see a text
field that has http:// in it, just put the link there after highlighting the
text that you need to be a link. That simple!

And of course, if you need something added that the WYSIWYG editor doesn't
do, you can add it in at the bottom. Just be aware that as soon as the top
gets edited, it'll overwrite the bottom window with the changes.

I've also been considering changing the name of the Remove tags button to
Filter tags or something like that, since if you uncheck something and click
it again, it'll add the tags back in.

If you have any suggestions or feature requests, let me know. It's such a
simple little app, but I find it really helpful!
