Hi, This is a newbie question for which I think I may have already googled the answer.
I was wondering if anybody knows of how to read from a socket and write or process the buffered data concurrently. As far I can gather, the VM is sequential with respect to thread of execution that the programmer can manipulate, i.e. even if you had mulitple asynchronous event handlers, these would be triggered serially by the interpreter's scheduler. Is this assumption correct? I have found various posts saying that you cannot do this in AS, neither can I see anything in the API that will let you do this, but the posts I googled are quite old and predate AS 3.0 (I think).
