In trying to track down how to make my custom ActionScript component designable in FlexBuilder 3 (Eclipse plugin), I took a stock AS component from the framework source, and built it locally in my FB3 project. When I try to design it - it doesn't show up but instead appears as a little blip on the design surface. WTF? Will the designer only layout SDK components? Is there some FB config change I'm missing to make this work? Is there some classpath file somewhere that will allow FB to design my local components? Is my FB install screwed up and this should work? I've googled this but haven't found any answers.
