I'm getting ready to release a custom component that I hope to sell
commercially. What, if any, options do I have to prevent someone from
taking my component and just e-mailing it to friends, or setting up
their own website to re-sell or offer my component for free? Ideally,
I'd like a run once type process that requires a code that I would
provide, that is unique to the users system, much like other software
applications. Short of compiling a different swc for every person, are
there any other options?
