Does the same to my Tentec Titan 3. I've finally learned to turn the 5k off
first. Don't think it hurts the amp, but don't like the sound of it.

Subject: [FlexEdge] PTT to Ground out Firmware Bug/Refinement ?

Hi Guys,

This seems a minor annoyance when powering off the Flex5000 in that the PTT
to ground out makes the linear relay chatter at high speed for 1~1.5 seconds
(Tokyo High Power HL-1.5KFX). The simple work around is to turn the linear
off first. Could this be a firmware refinement in a similar way of
improvement to the audio "ka-thump" now appears fixed in the latest firmware
? (or at least it appears that way)
