I don't know,  unless it is in the AGC..   6 Meters is funny like that
thou..   I have seen it (noise floor)  drift up and down,  one time I
thought my radio was broken..  :-)    You might see if you see the same with
the Pre2 turned off,  just a thogutht.    I'll try to listen on 6 some..
