I've seen that cute little pattern on my display as well.  Unfortunately I live 
in a six story building with all kinds of switchers everywhere. My panadaptor 
reminds me of the problem every time I turn on the radio!! Now I know what it 
is!!

 

Try putting your cellphone near the radio and watch what happens when you 
receive a call.
