That looks like the signature of a switching powersupply. Are you
using a
"wallwart" or other switching supply
to power your 1500? I would start by changing power supplies.
Cheap switching supplies are notorious for emitting this kind of
garbage.

I figured I'd ask before starting to unplug everything as I have
all sorts
of possibilities in my lab. I still hear it with a dummy load on
the
antenna of my 1500 but not as strong.
