I have a VIA chipset on the motherboard of my Windows 7/64 machine, and I also have a SIIG card with a TI chipset. Both of these cards are using the 16385 driver. If I delete the drivers and search for updates, the system reinstalls the same drivers.
Regardless of which firewire connection I use, I get good performance, but I do experience the raspy audio whenever I experience a periodic high DPC. I would like to try the 20756 driver, but how can I get it onto my computer so that I can install it?
