As list moderator I am requesting that we put this thread to rest and
*not* reply to it anymore. All valid points and opinions have been
expressed completely by those on both sides of the issue and any further
discussion would not be beneficial to the list subscribers. The tenor of
the posts have become adversarial and when that happens it is time to
stop and move on to other topics of discussion.
I am asking everyone to do this voluntarily. Failure to comply could
result in moderation of your future posts to the reflector. Please lets
not have to resort to those measures as we take moderating anyone as a
very serious matter and prefer not to do it.
In advance, thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
Have a good day (or night, depending on your time zone).

How about we create a Flex bashing forum so this one can get back to the
technical discussions about the radios and software?
I have nothing against venting, let's just move it to a place where like-
minded folks can discuss emotional topics, and this forum can stick to the
technical side.
During my engineering career, there was never anything wrong with pointing
out technical problems as long as you came to the table with ideas,
concepts, or fixes relevant to resolving the issue.
Questioning the integrity of Flex or other Amateur Radio Operators (pro or
against Flex) just doesn't seem to be appropriate for the "FlexEdge" forum
does it?

Mickael,
You are very far from being in a minoriy. Like an iceberg ninety percent is
hidden under the surface where it can't be seen (or in this case heard).
The sickening email from David Fiss is simply indicative of the depths to
which the Flex Zealot Brigade have sunk in trying to suppress wholly
justified criticism of Flex radios.
You should not expect an honest review from any of the leading magazines,
especially if FRS can try to influence the reviewer with promises of fixes
and pre releases of alpha software as happened recently. Unfortunately
magazines rely on advertising revenue so integrity flied out the window.
I suggest that FRS gets its act together and decides which paddling pool it
wants to play in whilst it still has a business left.
