Hello, I am having scratchy receive audio.
I have a Flex3000 in my truck using an XP machine. I also have an on-board Firewire connector on the system board. Also I have installed an internal Firewire card along with an USB internal card. Originally I had this receive audio issue with the system on-board firewire card. Dudley recommended an internal firewire card install. (Jump in anytime Dudley!) So I installed an internal card and all worked perfect! (Thank you Dudley!) Well, now I am using this PC in my truck for I-tunes, a GPS unit that is the size of a 1 1/2 inch square puck if you will that sits on the dash of the truck. Also from time to time, I tether my phone so I can look at my house through the internet using a camera system that has been installed for for years. While listening to the flex3000 within a minute I get this big spike and then the audio gets scratchy. As if something was just turned on. This will come and go. It is coming from the PCs hardware I expect. I have tried looking in "Device Manager" and tried to turn a few things off that looked to have the same "IRQ" as the firewire. I am not having any luck getting whatever is interfering to stop! Anyone have any ideas what I can do to solve this? It is testing my patiences and I cannot think of anything else to try! I even swapped the firewire/USB boards around. It does not matter what version of PSDR I am using. I believe it has nothing to do with the PSDR software. Thank you sincerely, Ken K3YI _______________________________________________ Flexedge mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexedge_flex-radio.biz This is the FlexRadio Systems e-mail Reflector called FlexEdge.
