I agree with you. We need Deep Impact -- been waiting for it for years
and years now.
PowerSDR was groundbreaking software in its time, but it is a little
long in the tooth today.
Most modern SDR GUI's have long since adopted the concept of a static
Panafall display
(static in the horizontal plane, i.e. a fixed center frequency) and you
move the decoder window
across the displayed data. Please see:
SpectraVue
SDR-Radio
SDRMAXII (III, IV)...
Winrad
HDSDR
...
Don't get me wrong, I love my 5kA/3k/1500's, but PowerSDR needs to get
with the times.
