Has anyone experienced a high noise level from their flex compared to other radios in the shack?
I'm running a Flex 5K (with 2nd RX and ATU, but they are off or bypass), SDR 2.2.2. I am seeing about a S8 level of noise with the preAmp off and a S6 with the preAmp on. This seams backwards to me as my ICOM735 raises the noise level when I switch the preAmp on. For reference, the AGC-T is 99, NR on, 14.200MHz SSB with a BW of 2.4K. If I move the antenna coax to my ICOM 735 the noise level is S1 with the preAmp off.
