I have the desktop PC running PowerSDR and Skype configured to auto answer. Skype is set to answer from people on my list only and I run it in hidden mode when online. To connect Skype to PowerSDR you need to buy a program called Virtual Audio Cable. The write up on configuring VAC is in the Flex Knowledge Base http://kc.flexradio.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50230.aspx?Keywords=vac

For remote access from my Macbook Pro I use www.logmein.com
It is free for personal use and allows access to the remote desktop. You can use the mouse to click the MOX button for transmit.

Also for remote access from an iDevice (iPad, iPod, iPhone) I use Skype and CommCat. You need to purchase COmmCat for the home PC and the CommCat mobile app is free. In the CommCat mobile app I set up a T/R button to toggle PTT. There are other macros that can be configured. More info on CommCat is here http://www.commcat.com/

If you need to remote control other shack accessories such as auto tuner, amps, etc, then you want to use Steve Nance, K5FR's excellent program DDUtil. That will allow the Flex to interface seamlessly with a variety of equipment. I have the CAT info from PwerSDR controlling the auto tuner and amp. Also the LP-100A wattmeter is connected and power & SWR show in DDUtil.
