Hi Scott,

I had this symptom when trying to run 192kHz using the motherboard firewire 
port and a Flex-5000A. PSDR would hang and then gave this error/symptom.  A 
powerdown and restart did not fix the problem.

I did a system restore using a windows restore point and the problem resolved. 
I am running Win7 Ultimate. Something must have gotten corrupted in the windows 
registry or system files. I duplicated this several times. My ultimate solution 
was to install a dedicated firewire card.
