If memory serves, the FLEX 5000A case is a standard model made by Schroff (Pentair in the USA). I use cases made in very similar fashion by another European company for my in-house automated test platforms at work. These cases are running on the order of $500 to $600 each, depending on height - prior to any local machine shop modifications. I can understand FLEX's reasoning completely.
