You should get the Kenwood 4 pin, the rewire per pin-out in SDR manual. Or, get a XLR to TRS cable from Rad Shack and plug it directly into the D44 sound card. Or, get an XLR cable with a 1/4 inch stereo plug on the opposite end [adapters are available] for other than the D44 and Firewire cards/box. 73, W5GI
