Mark,
I use a box made by KD9SV to allow me to use rx only antenna's with my
transceiver that does not have a rx only antenna jack. It allows you to connect
up to 4 rx antennas and it also contains preamps for 160/80M. It works very
well. Check it out at

  Subject: [Flexradio] RX only Antenna

I recently installed the DX engineering receive ONLY 4 square antenna. I
want to modify my SDR-1000 to provide a RX only antenna input that is
similar to my 9000D. I know I could build some kind of external antenna
relay but I'm looking for something a little more fool proof. I will be
switching the RX only antenna between several different rigs and I just
know I'm going to send 100 watts of RF into this antenna if I don't make
it idiot proof. I would need the ability to switch the RX antenna in and
out depending on band and conditions. I could either used a hard wired
switch or some how take advantage of the Ext. Ctrl.

Has anyone already done something like this???? Does anyone have any
  suggestions.???

  Thanks & 73's... Mark NU6X Sedona, AZ
