Lee, this is a good point.  Trying to do a review of SDR in the same fashion
as regular rigs is like comparing apples to television sets.  The only thing
which comes out is that anti-SDR crowd gets fed more perceptions to justify
their bias.

Perhaps a preface article (or several) on SDR would help.  I'm not any sort
of specialist on SDR technology, but I can write and would not mind putting
in the effort...with the condition that someone who IS an expert provides
oversight and makes sure I don't state something incorrectly or mess up any
facts.
