Can not we just all relax and stop being so critical of FRS and of each
other? I have not witnessed "Flex" blaming ANYTHING. In fact, from my
perspective Flex support folk have been very patient with us.
They can not make IDIOT PROOF a system that is comprised of many other
companies' hardware, other company's operating system, many other
companies' hardware drivers, their Flex hardware and open source
software that is used by many operators with qualifications ranging from
complete newbies to PHD's.
Anyone who thinks they can do that should certainly DO IT themselves. I
will buy their products for sure. But I enjoy using Flex products as
they are. I have seen the SDR-1000 performance improve singnificantly
each month since I bought mine. I recently sold it and have ordered a
Flex 5000A. I see a bright future for the 5000A, especially when the
new architecture comes online.
