It seems to only work with the PC soundcard. That is why I wrote my VoiceKeyer program. Otherwise, I love N1MM & use it for all operating, not just contests. I generally keep it up to date with the latest revision, currently v9.10.2. com0com is much better than N8VBcom. N8VB has stopped working on his serial port emulator & the configuration tool did not work properly under Vista the last time I tried it. However, Steve Nance, K5FR, has written a new virtual serial port manager based on the Eltima serial driver. I have been beta testing it for about a month with no problems. I highly recommend it over com0com. It works well & is very easy to use. Like com0com, it is free. My VoiceKeyer program has been used successfully on XP, Vista (32-bit), & Windows 7 (32-bit). There have been some issues running it on 64-bit operating systems. Unfortunately, I do not have the capability of debugging in a 64-bit environment. Also, you MUST download and install the Microsoft DirectX v9 Runtime. Links are provided on my website.
