Now guys, I am going to propose that you are in some state of mass hysteria.
Being someone who has passed his 70th birthday some time ago the term "BSOD"
was not in my vocabulary although I was familiar with a couple of those
letters....
And I guess I missed the note where this was defined. So it wasn't until
today that I knew what was being considered!
I have an old Systemax Ascent that I use for connection to the internet and
about two years ago it developed the problem of BAWSOD (black and white
stripes of death). So I bought a new video card and got rid of the problem
until may July of this year when I was plagued with BSOD! OK, you turn it
off and turn it back on again and things will be normal for a day or two
when the BSOD returns. This computer has never been connected to a Flex
radio. The shack is on the other side of the house. This computer does
not have a firewire adapter. But I do see the BSOD! Are you sure that
one of our Asian friends hasn't produced ten million chips of some type now
randomly used that produces the BSOD?

(Release - from website)
If you can save a dump if it happens again, I'd be interested in checking
it out ..
Hardware config (processer, memory , etc. ) ??

I don't have the dump sorry,
But I was running DM780, VAC, HRD, HRD LOGGER, PowerSDR, VSPmanager,
Google Chrome and a few other things..

Anthony
There is a problem a couple of folks are having ..
What was running at the time of the BSOD (Digital program, VAC, etc.) ?
Do you have a dump file (in c:\windows\minidump ?
What is your computer hardware configuration ?

It may be a coincidence, but since I updated my firmware and
flex-firewire driver I seem to be experiencing BSOD (Blue Screen Of
Death) in Windows 7 x64.. Nothing else has been updated/changed on my
system..
Has anyone else had any problems like this? I'm beginning to think it
would be just far easier to go back to XP (however I love windows 7!)
