This is more like an ALC overshoot than a keying spike like in the IC-781
Especially noted when using a low drive Amp and several spikes will be noted 
from key to unkey while in SSB.
I have noticed it since owning a 5K since 2008 almost 3 years; However have 
seen it improved since intro of Beta 1.19 beta thru 2.0.19 Rc1
But it's still there.
