With Windows 7 64, just installed the new SP1.

On initial installation and start-up of PowerSDR v2.0.19, I had very a high
CPU usage, like 80% cpu. CPU is usually around 15%. Swithing on Task
Manager, I saw that the CPU hog was the .net Runtime Optimazation Service.
After about a minute, the CPU usage settled back down to normal.

I think after a SP1 update or other major Windows updates, this service
recomplies many items in Windows system. After .net Runtime Opt. settled
down, everything appears normal. I was beginning to think a Restore was
needed, but okay now.

Maybe Eric or Neal or Tim could comment on this.

Thanks

Subject: [Flexradio] Windows 7 SP1

Windows 7 SP1 has been out for a few days. Has anyone had any adverse issues
with the Service Pack, particularly with PowerSDR?

Everything has been working just fine and I don't want to mess things up
with a bad Service Pack. On the other hand, I don't want to be vulnerable
either. Running FLEX-5000A and Windows 7 32 bit.
