Hi Folks! I am working on a program to control my Flex-5000A in a modest way through the CAT control mechanism of PowerSDR and I am experiencing some odd behavior.
First, I am using com0com to map COM20 on either my test program or a terminal program to the PowerSDR CAT port on COM21. That works fine. However, when I issue a "ZZRM0;" command, I receive only one signal strength reading each time I issue the command...at least initially. After a third "ZZRM0;" command I start to see two responses. Instead of the normal single response of "ZZRM0-83.2 dBm;", I am seeing "ZZRM0-82.2 dBm;ZZRM0-82 dBm;". The each time I execute the command, I see an additional reading in the response. This is happening with both a terminal program and a piece of code that I wrote to do it for me. I can only clear this up by rebooting PowerSDR, but it comes right back. Any ideas?
