I occasionally use the recording feature on my Flex-3000 running PSDR

the record feature or turn it off afterwards.
Has anyone used an application macro builder/player with an "event
trigger" such as a pre-determined time driven by the system clock, to
initiate the recording and then stop the recording with out the need to
be present. It would need to be inexpensive. I know of a product known
as Auto Mate 9, but it is very expensive and I am not sure that would
even do what I am looking to do.
Your ideas will be greatly appreciated.

The free Audacity sound recorder has a "timer record" function
(under the Transport menu) that might do the job for you, as long as
you use VAC or the line in jack on your computer to get audio into
Audacity.
