Tis why they call it open source. You dont have to do everything yourself
Craig. I added FCK V2 to rainbow and its not that hard. You just work on
that release and ill check out the code as soon as youre done. I need a
solid wiki system to go with our new .net 2.0 portal version.

Yeah, it would be really cool to have even pseudo-WYSIWYG editing. That's
definitely one of those features that I'd love to see FlexWiki take on...

Sorry - I would love to say "sure! I'll bang that out this weekend!" but
the
truth is that after two years of hammering on FlexWiki 2.0 I just need to
ship it. I'm sure you understand. :)

No harm in asking, though! :)

If anyone else is thinking of taking this on, you'd be a huge hero: in
terms
of user impact, WYSYWIG editing would vastly eclipse everything I've done
in
the last two years. Vastly.

Anyway, if you *are* thinking about adding this, I'd suggest that we need
to
do a little research first. FlexWiki isn't GPL, but I see that FCKeditor
supports LGPL and MPL. Those are probably compatible with our license, but
because Microsoft is our copyright holder we'd need to run it past their
legal department first. If someone decides that integrating FCKEditor is
an
interesting job, David and I will clear it with Microsoft Legal for you.
