As an alternative, why not embrace the fact that the links are being
created, and fill them in with topics?
We have done that here in places, so that if you have some text with
camel cased words, many of the linked topics are very short (perhaps
just having a Summary: property) so that you can effectively mouse over
the word and get a definition.
That is, rather than suppress the links, just provide simple "definition
pages" by filling in the blanks. By encouraging users to do this, very
quickly the wiki would get filled in and then would be quite useful.

Subject: Re: [Flexwiki-users] Automatic Link Suppression
Hi Stephen
This is not a feature that would get added at this time, but when we
redo the parser it could more easily be added.
The reason for the autolink creation is that if you use a construct that
looks like it should be a Wiki Topic then it creates the edit link and
users know that this page should be created by someone.
Another alternative that should be discussed is the use of a StopLinks
topic where CamelCase words found in that topic do not create autolinks.

Is there any thought in adding a feature that would suppress automatic
link construction. I've seen this available in other wikis, such as the
one used by WikiPedia.
Here is the logic: We use the wiki for system documentation and lots and
lots of names have CamelCase but we don't want them to all be links so
the pages have lots of link suppression (""this is not a link""). With
automatic links suppressed then you'd have to use the brackets
[ThisIsAnExplicitLink] everywhere that you want the links to appear, and
in our case I think this would be simpler and keep the source text more
clear than using automatic links everywhere.
