Finally getting caught up on my email after getting back Sunday night. Just thought I'd add a little to what John said. The reponse from the few people I talked to was very encouraging just like John described. It is amazing how much has been accomplished in the last several months, but people who had last seen the software a year ago or more, were particularly impressed.
There were a few people helping, but for the most part John carried the show. I had to attend the sessions to satisfy my boss, since he had reluctantly paid for the trip. In between I was able to help out some (as did others) giving John a chance to break away for a few minutes, but for the most part he was right there all week. In addition to the booth John did a Conference Session on FlightGear Thursday afternoon. I didn't get to see the whole session, but I did stop in after the one I was in got out. Even with the time run out the audience was still very attentive. (This is a good sign--all but one or two of the sessions I attended started bailing out before the speaker was even done.) Also, his slides looked very nice up on the screen. Anyway, just thought I'd give credit where it was due. And if you ever get a chance to make a Linux show, do it. It's lots of fun!
