How soon they forget. RTFM! One step closer.
Now it starts to run, but fails to find the base package. Directory
structure is as called out on the
website and a duplicate of what is on the cygwin side which runs. Tried
fgfs --fg-root=/usr/local
Same result
Base package check failed .. Found version [none]
Please upgrade to version 0.7.9
Base is same vintage as CVS source.
fgfs binary is in /usr/local/FlightGear/bin and the base files are in
/usr/local/FlightGear.
Program was compiled in /usr/local/source/FlightGear with
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/FlightGear/
make install
file permissions look okay everyone has read and execute. write belongs to
root
Tried the above as root
