There is an untextured but highly-animated Cessna 310 model now in the base package. It has retractable gear, spinning propellers, opening and closing doors for the nose gear, a turning nosewheel for steering, and moving ailerons, inner and outer flaps, elevators, and rudder.
You need the latest CVS FlightGear for the nose-wheel-doors to function properly -- I've added 'min' and 'max' parameters for the rotate animations. For some reason, the animations are not working with the YASim Cessna 310 model (despite the fact that the same kinds of animations work fine with the YASim DC-3). I cannot find anything obvious in the config file, but perhaps Andy could take a glance.
