Aaaah, that sounds interesting. Are you building FlightGear on Tru64 or on Linux ? I have a 300 MHz AlphaServer1000 at home - yet without graphics board - with Tru64 on it. Although my machine don't have an AGP slot (does your's ? I believe r128 is AGP only !?) I might put some other PCI board in and have a try ....
