Tru64 and Opengl is kind of a mistery to me. From what i remember, first you need a supported graphics adaptor, i.e Digital 4d20, 4d50, 4d51 (Cpq has new ones too...) Then you need a sepatate OPEN3D license (Not included in the OS). IMHO. OTOH, if you really want to try, see http://moon.hanya-n.org/comp/alpha/hct/graphics.html Besides, PCI video cards are cheap by now. Me? I have a Digital Server 3305 (Like an AS800 , but built for NT), with a 16 mb Ati 128 PCI card, with Linux. It's a nice machine. Getting DRI to work was a headache. I was thinking about gzip failures (compiler related), do you know if there is any way to retrive the scenary files uncompressed?. The gcc port is not very good on the alpha, sadly.
