Nah. Most of us use the base package out of CVS, which gives us
differential updates for free.  As for scenery, some of us are just
too lazy to download it at all and do all our testing in the SF Bay
area. :)

That being said, I think making the binary data distribution (scenery
and base package) available via rsync is an excellent idea.  And
Curt's right, it's really, really easy.
