Ok, people, please have a look at
        rsync scenery.flightgear.org::Base
and tell me what you think.  It should let you track the bleeding edge
version of the base package really easily if you don't have local changes.

The CVS directories are present, to make it trivial to switch from rsync
to CVS as soon as you want to do any major modifications of your tree.
For minor changes, of course, simply use the --exclude command line option.
