The atmosphere support in FGEnvironment is still very rough. My original changes to YASim used FGEnvironment only if the /environment/params/control-fdm-atmosphere property was set to true (not the default) -- that property also ties FGEnvironment's model to JSBSim, where it's definitely not working properly yet (the problem seems to be in JSBSim's external atmosphere support). Perhaps we should add the /environment/params/control-fdm-atmosphere test back into YASim, so that it uses its own atmosphere model by default, for now.
